Merri-bek is working with RMIT University to get an understanding of landlords experience in managing maintenance and improvement requests for rental housing.
Whether it’s stopping draughts, fixing broken appliances, or installing a split system air-conditioner, we are interested in hearing about the comfort of your rental home and whether you have made any improvements for a research project on rental energy efficiency.
Who?
- Property Owners who have a rental in based in Greater Melbourne.
What’s involved?
- Participation involves two short interviews and an assessment of their property — supporting them to identify practical efficiency upgrades in advance of new energy efficiency standards being introduced in Victoria.)
Eligible participants will be required to sign a consent form.
If qualified to participate, participants receive:
Landlords who qualify for the project will receive a $50 Coles-Myer gift card as a thank you, and a free home energy efficiency assessment valued up to $500 for their rental property.
