Mending sessions at Coburg Library Makers’Space
August Theme: Fix your Knits!
Each session will include mini workshops on various darning and other mending techniques for hand knitted jumpers, scarves, gloves and beanies.
Some of these techniques can be used for machine knits and stretch fabric such as t-shirts and tights. Application often depends on preference for visible or invisible mends.
Remember getting the garment mended is an achievement! And reduce textile waste!
