Merri-bek Council is proudly partnering with CERES and 3000acres for the annual Olives to Oil Festival, which brings people together from across Melbourne to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil.
Join family, friends and neighbours to pick your olives no earlier than 19 May. Book your spot on Sunday 21 May to drop off your olives to be pressed into a community oil . You can drop off your olives at CERES Environment Park in Brunswick East. There will also be a festival at CERES on Sunday 21 May to celebrate olive season with food, music, culture, face painting, pruning workshops and olive pressing demonstrations.
