The Eye at Brunswick Baths

Alicia Frankovich has selected the Brunswick Baths as the site of a new performance that recognises climate crisis, including rising sea levels, as a given condition of contemporary life.

An eerie silence, a conversation, actions; this work stages planetary affects in ways that haunt and inspire, in a navigational mode where we are made to think about the nebulous space where bodies dwell, where things are going and how these spaces can be traversed under current planetary conditions.

This event is part of Take Hold of the Clouds, a curated exhibition for the Open House July Weekend that embeds responsive works within Melbourne’s most-loved architectural spaces.
