As part of this year’s Clean Up Australia Day, Sunday 3 March, we’re inviting the community to join us in cleaning up one of Melbourne’s most treasured public waterways, Merlynston Creek, which runs through Northern Memorial Park.
Come along to Northern Memorial Park from 9am–11am to help us clean up Merlynston Creek. We will be meeting at the Sturt area, where parking is available. (More details below).
Snacks and light refreshments for morning tea will be provided for all volunteers. Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle, and wear sturdy closed footwear.
Participation is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you on the day.

Directions and parking
Enter Northern Memorial Park along Victoria Boulevard. Drive past the Commemoration Centre, through the roundabout and the Sturt area car park on your right hand side. There is some parking available in the Sturt area, and more available at the Commemoration Centre which is only a short walk to the meeting point.
