Inspired by Melbourne’s lemon trees dropping fruit by the kilo in winter, Coburg mum Lisa created Lemonshare.
Lemonshare is a simple way for people to share, swap or sell their excess homegrown fruit, vegetables, herbs and more, while getting to know the people growing food around them.
“If there’s one thing you can do, it’s post a listing, no matter how small,” says Lisa.
“Every listing gets us one step closer to building an alternative local supply chain, and every message to a grower is a small recognition of their generosity.”
