The Merri Menders invite you to a mending circle at the Coburg Library Makerspace, 26 Louisa Street, Coburg.
A Mending circle is a “group of people sitting together repairing clothing or textile items”… and enjoying it! Sometimes menders share techniques and stitches, sometimes there’s casual chat, and sometimes relaxing silence.
Learn basic mending skills and share creative ideas that reduce textile waste. Bring along something that needs mending (clothing or textiles) and mend together!
Sewing thread and tools will be available. Come to one session or all, just drop in, or stay the whole time – you are welcome!
