Get ready for the annual Northside Olives to Oil Festival, brought to you by CERES, Merri-bek and Darebin Councils. The festival brings people together from across Melbourne to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil. Help us make use of this precious urban food resource which is often otherwise wasted!
To manage demand and keep the program viable, you must book a ticket to participate. Harvest your olives within 2 days and drop off at CERES Brunswick on either Sunday 4 May OR Saturday 24 May 11am – 3pm. Free drop off of up to 20kg of olives available to Merri-bek and Darebin residents only (proof of address required when dropping off olives). Pick up your olive oil on Sunday 15th June
