Earlier this month, we welcomed 6 new Ride & Stride schools for 2023.

We are excited to work with Brunswick South West Primary, Coburg Primary, Fawkner Primary, Glenroy West Primary, Oak Park Primary and St Margaret Mary’s Primary.

These Student Leaders from Oak Park Primary are looking forward to supporting their peers to start riding and striding to school.

Ride & Stride is our flagship behaviour change program designed to get more kids (and their families) riding, striding and scooting to school. By creating a culture of healthy, active travel in young people, we can make Merri-bek’s transport system safer and more sustainable.

In 2022, we worked with local schools to increase active travel to school. Across Merri-bek Primary, Brunswick North West Primary and St Oliver Plunkett Primary, we delivered Open Streets, e-cargo bike trials, TagOn technology and more!

Check out some of the great things we achieved together in 2022 in the infographics below. Click here to read our 2022 Ride & Stride Outcomes report in full.
