From July 2027, we are planning to change rubbish collections from weekly to fortnightly and provide households with a larger rubbish bin for those who need one.
Council will make a final decision about this in June.
We are running focus groups to make sure we hear from people who will be most impacted by this change. We want to hear from:
- Large family households
- Households with young children in nappies
- Older people
- People with medical needs that increase their household waste and their carers
- Multicultural communities
Focus groups will take place between 21 April and 24 April.
Participants will receive a small e-gift voucher to thank them for their time.
