Congratulations to Brunswick South Primary School as a finalists in Sustainability Victoria’s 2025 ResourceSmart Schools Awards.
The school’s Environmental Action Team (EAT) of Year 3 and 4 students boasts over 30 members who work together on sustainability initiatives such as waste-free lunches, designing an indigenous garden with educational signs, and building insect hotels from salvaged materials. Notable activities in 2024 included presentations on plastic pollution, and the 12 Days of Ecomas, a campaign for an eco-friendly Christmas.
