The alien-looking unit in this picture is actually a composter. It takes food scraps and makes it into ‘Biogas’ for cooking.

Merri-bek are supporting Open Table to provide a free demo of the Composter at the Coburg Courtyard, adjacent to Schoolhouse Studios, 28 Victoria Street, Coburg. The demonstration includes a question and answer session, composting demo and cooking demo.
