Merri-bek is a finalist in the:
- Energy Efficiency Achievement Award for our Solar and Thermal Subsidy Program.
- Collaboration Award for our Electrify Everything Community of Practice.

The Solar and Thermal Program is also a finalist in the Community Choice Award.
You have until midnight Thursday 24 August to vote for our program which helps low-income homeowners install solar panels and improve their insulation. The program is a “one-stop-shop” that supports eligible people through the whole process, including carefully assessing their home for suitability, gaining access to state government rebates, as well as a financial subsidy provided by Council to cover any out of pocket expenses.
