Top tips to using your Food and Garden Organics bin during hot weather

Wrap food waste in newspaper or paper towel before putting in your bin

Store meat and seafood scraps in the fridge or freezer until bin night

Put dry garden waste in the bottom of your organics bin. This will stop food waste sticking to the bottom.

Store your bin in the shade and keep the lid closed tightly when not in use
