This year, GMCT are celebrating National Tree Day by inviting the local community to come and help us plant new native trees on Seventh Avenue at Fawkner Memorial Park.
This community event is free to attend, and we welcome gardeners of all ages and skill levels, including kids! We ask that any children attending be supervised by a parent or caretaker.
Complimentary coffee and pastries will be provided. All attendees will also get to take home a native plant to help increase the biodiversity of their own green spaces.
Please dress for gardening outdoors in warm clothing and sturdy footwear. Some gardening items will be provided, but if you have a pair of gardening gloves, please bring them along too.
Registrations are essential.
